Blue Chalk collaborated with NBC News Brand Studio and their client, Mercedes-Benz, to tell the stories of three LGBTQ makers who are redefining their artistic industries. John Sorensen-Jolink left his home in Oregon to pursue his dream of becoming a dancer in New York City. After a decade of professional dancing, he craved an artistic pursuit that was more tangible and permanent than a performance: building furniture that people would treasure.
